Transport

In the UK road transport alone now accounts for 26% of UK carbon emissions. Providing alternative modes of transport and reducing carbon output is essential in order to reduce carbon emissions. A return flight between London and New York emits nearly half of the safe levels of carbon that any individual should be emitting on a yearly basis.

The UK accounts for 25% of Europe’s aviation emissions.  There are many ways that carbon emissions can be reduced through alternative modes of transport.  For more information about alternative modes of transport click here.
